Featuring a beautiful upright piano from the late eighties, ‘The Upright’ is the first virtual instrument ever to be recorded, mixed, and delivered fully in Ambisonics, allowing you to have control over how you want your listeners to feel the message you’re delivering with your music.
Regardless of your final mix being in Stereo, Binaural, VR, or any Surround configuration, ‘The Upright’ will always keep not only the fidelity of the sound but transport your listeners exactly to where you want them to be.
As technology helps artists and listeners to get closer, Audio Brewers has decided to take the next step and offer you a tool to allow your listeners to tear down that last layer that would keep them from feeling exactly what you were feeling. Ambisonics Version
Our novel recording and mixing techniques deliver a sound library natively compatible with multi-speaker arrays. This means that no matter your speaker setup, you can dynamically adapt the sound to it and results will always translate with utmost quality. Be it Binaural (headphones), Stereo, Surround, Atmos, Ambix for VR, custom arrays, and even exporting to multiple channel-configurations at once, your mix will always be natural and real.
Ambisonics Version is compatible with DAWs that support multi-channel tracks.
Stereo Version
Our approach to sound also has a benefit to those who prefer to stick to Stereo. Thanks to our recording and mixing techniques, where we respect the microphone positions not only in a left to right fashion, but on a three-dimensional space, the resulting mix is a faithful representation of how sound behaves as it travels to your ears. Instead of having mic positions that layer on top of others, we offer multiple mixes that combine seamlessly with each other in total sonic harmony.
Stereo Version is compatible with every DAW available in the market.

* Ambisonics Format is natively compatible with any speaker array configuration as long as a third-party decoder can support it.
‘Ambisonics Version’ is delivered both in Stereo (2-channel samples) and RAW Ambix Ambisonics (4-channel samples). As Kontakt doesn’t natively support Ambisonics decoding, a third-party plug-in might be needed if your DAW cannot decode natively. Fortunately there are several ways to achieve this. Please go to our Support section and learn how you can decode Ambisonics in your DAW
Please make sure your DAW supports multichannel tracks, as for Ambisonics to work, a 4-channel (or more) track is needed. Please find out about DAW compatibility in our Support section.
A full version of Kontakt is needed to load this library. It will NOT work with Kontakt player. Please make sure you own the latest version of Kontakt before purchasing.
