How do I update my products?
In this post, we’ll guide you on how to update a library or a plugin you already have installed.
My product is not installed yet
If you are installing your product for the first time, Pulse will install the latest version of it. You don’t have to do anything.
I already have the product installed
If your product is already installed, upon opening Pulse, it will let you know there’s an UPDATE AVAILABLE
By clicking on the product’s cover, you’ll see the option to “Update to the latest”, by clicking on the dialogue, Pulse Downloader will download and install all the updates up to the latest.
I don’t see an UPDATE AVAILABLE
If you don’t see an UPDATE AVAILABLE banner on the product’s cover and instead, an “Install” button, this might mean you need to “re-link” your product. Don’t worry, it’s super easy:
By clicking on the three dots, a menu with the option Re-Locate will dropdown.
By clicking on it, you will be presented with a dialogue to select where the product was downloaded. Add the path.
If you deleted the product’s original location, you will need to re-download it.
EXAMPLE: If your full path to ‘The Upright’ is ‘F:\Libraries\Audio Brewers - The Upright’, that means its location is ‘F:\Libraries’
By setting the path to the library, simply click on Re-locate, and that’s it! You should be able to Update your library.
I still have issues.
Make sure you have the latest version of Pulse Downloader. You can do this by going to ‘Preferences - Check for Pulse updates’.
